Canon is rumored to announce two new tilt-shift lenses with auto-focus for the RF mount and a high resolution EOS R model in the next 1-2 years.
The two rumored autofocus tilt-shift lenses from Canon will be the Canon TS-R 14mm f/4L Tilt-Shift Lens and Canon TS-R 24mm f/3.5L Tilt-Shift Lens. These will be the first tilt-shift lenses with autofocus.
The exact announcement timeframe is still unknown. But these two new Canon autofocus tilt-shift lenses for RF mount will be announced in late 2021. More details after the break abut the High-Megapixel EOS R Camera!
Besides the autofocus tilt-shift lenses for RF-mount, Canon is working hard on a new high-megapixel EOS R series camera (EOS R5S?). We previously reported that the Canon EOS R5S high-megapixel camera is being tested by a very select group of photographers as a finished product. The upcoming EOS R5s will feature a new 90MP sensor, which “just about doubles” the 45MP sensor of the Canon EOS R5. But now it seems it seems there is a possibility that an ultra-high pixel sensor of 100MP or more will be installed.
Both the Canon EOS R5 and the EOS R6 are super hot selling mirrorless cameras on the market. Canon EOS R5 in stock.
Canon EOS R5 with 24-105mm f/4L Lens: $4,999 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.
