Sigma TC-1411 1.4x and TC-2011 2x Teleconverters for L-Mount Lenses

In addition to the Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Lens (for L-mount and E-mount), Sigma has also announced two new L-mount teleconverters: the TC-1411 (1.4x) and the TC-2011 (2x).

Sigma says these two teleconverters are ‘Designed to complement Sigma’s renowned optical formulas’ and feature a dust- and splash-proof design ‘comparable to that of the Sigma Sports line lenses.’

Sigma 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary Lens for L-Mount and Sony E-Mount

Sigma today officially announced the new 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary telephoto zoom lens for E-mount and L-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras.

The telephoto zoom lens is constructed of 22 elements in 16 groups including one low dispersion element (FLD) and four special low dispersion (SLD) elements. It uses a stepping motor for autofocus, has a nine-blade aperture diaphragm, a minimum aperture range of F22–29 and a 67mm front filter thread. At 100mm it has a minimum focusing distance of 112cm (44”) and at 400mm it has a minimum focusing distance of 160cm (63”). The lens measures in at 86mm (3.4”) diameter, 197mm (7.8”) long and weighs 1,135g (40oz).

First Images of Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Lens, 2X TC-2011 teleconverter and Sigma USB dock UD-11

Here are the first images of the Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Lens (for L-mount and E-mount), 2X TC-2011 teleconverter for L-mount and Sigma USB dock UD-11 for L-mount.

Sigma will soon announce a new super telephone zoom lens for Sony E-mount cameras. The product would be the Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Lens.

Canon RF 100mm f/2L IS USM Macro Lens to be Announced in Late 2020

According to the latest rumors, Canon RF 100mm f/2L IS USM Macro lens is in  hands of some selected photographers and will be announced later 2020.

Canon RF Lens Roadmap already includes the  but this will be better for its aperture and focal length.

The telephoto prime macro lens is expected to arrive in late 2020 and not much information more about it yet. Olympus ED 150-400mm f/4.5 Pro Lens to be Released in Fall 2020

Already in development, the new super telephoto zoom lens Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC 1.25x IS PRO will be released around Fall in 2020.

A German interview with Olympus Forum shared some interesting details about the future Olympus products. According to the interview the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC 1.25x IS PRO Lens will be available in late 2020. The company might have plans for a Mark II of PEN-F model. New Patents for Canon RF 85mm f/1.8 & RF 100mm f/2.8 Lenses

Canon has just filed two new lens patents RF 85mm f/1.8 lens and RF 100mm f/2.8 lens. New Canon patents are for RF-mount and will be designed for company’s full frame mirrorless cameras.

6 New Canon Lenses and 2 Teleconvertors Show up for Certification

Six new Canon lenses and two teleconvertors have shown up for certification in Russia.

According to Nokishita Camera, Canon has just registered a new lens SKU 4234C005AA at Russia certification body. As previously posted Canon will release a total of 9 RF lenses & extenders, including RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens (B&H, Adorama, Amazon), RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM lens, Extender RF 1.4x, Extender RF 2x. More NIKKOR Z f/1.2 Prime Lenses Coming in 2020

Nikon is rumored to announce more NIKKOR Z-mount lenses with f/1.2 bright aperture. According to latest rumors from NR, Nikon is planning to launch more f/1.2 high-end prime lenses for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras.

Currently, there is only one f/1.2 prime lens in the Nikon Z-mount lens roadmap and it is the NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S Lens.

Canon has already released RF 50mm f/1.2L and RF 85mm f/1.2L prime lenses for Canon full frame mirrorless cameras. We hope the same for Nikon and wish to see they also release NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S lens in near future.
