Samyang AF 35mm f/1.8 FE Lens to be Announced on September 14

The latest rumor suggests that the Samyang AF 35mm f/1.8 FE Lens for Sony E-mount will be officially announced on Monday September 14, 2020 and it will cost 359€.

This Samyang AF 35mm f/1.8 FE Lens will be the 6th member of Samyang’s “Tiny but Almighty” AF series lenses, which joins Samyang’s AF 18mm, 24mm, 35mm f/2.8, 45mm and 75mm f/1.8 models.

Samyang unveils the new AF 85mm f/1.4 RF lens for Canon EOS R system. The lens can be preordered for $699 at Adorama.

The Samyang AF 85mm f/1.4 RF lens is an autofocus short-telephoto (portrait) lens for Canon RF mount cameras. This lens delivers beautiful bokeh, outstanding image quality and fast, silent autofocusing.

Optically, the Samyang/Rokinon AF 85mm f/1.4 RF looks to be identical to the Sony FE version. There are 11 elements in 8 groups, including 1 Extra Low Dispersion (ED) element and 4 High Refractive Index (HRI) elements to cut down on chromatic aberration and allow for a smaller lens design, respectively, as well as the company’s Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) to eliminate ghosting and flare. Samyang MF 85mm f/1.4 II and MF 14mm f/2.8 II Lenses Announced

Samyang officially announced the two new lenses: MF 14mm f/2.8 Mark II  and    MF 85mm f/1.4 Mark II.

This updated lens has a declickable aperture ring which makes it more suitable for video shooters. and weather sealing. Both lenses cover the full-frame sensor, and will be available for Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon M, and Micro Four Thirds lens mounts.

Samyang MF 85mm f/1.4 and MF 14mm f/2.8 Mark II Versions Coming

According to recent reports, Samyang is about ot release a Mark II version of the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 and Samyang 85mm f/1.4.

These will be manual focus lenses only and the two new lenses will be called: MF 85mm f/1.4 MK II and MF 14mm f/2.8 MK II.

The US price for both lenses is not available yet, you can check for pre-order options at major stores like B&H Photo Video/Adorama.

Samyang, also known as Rokinon, has announced the new small and compact AF 75mm f/1.8 FE portrait lens for Sony full frame E-mount camera system. See all Samyang AF lenses for Sony E-mount.

The Samyang AF 75mm f/1.8 FE Lens is only 230g in weight and 69mm in height, this makes it one of the lightest portrait lenses on the market – and Samyang claims to be the lightest specifically at 75mm. And this lens will be available for less than $400.

Rokinon/Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE Lens Announced

Rokinon has officially announced the new Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens today. This is a very compact FE lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras. The US price for this lens is $399 and available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video.

A simple but effective lens, the Rokinon 45mm offers a relatively fast f/1.8 maximum aperture to balance size and speed as it manages to weigh just 5.7 oz and measure 2.2″ long. It uses aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to minimize various aberrations and an Ultra Multi-Coating reduces flare and ghosting.
