Here are a few bit information on the upcoming Nikon Z50 Mirrorless APS-C Camera.

According to recent reports the 20MP sensor found on the Nikon Z50 will be based on the D500 sensor. Several lab tests has shown that the sensor in the D500 performs at close to the same levels as the D7200’s sensor. Nikon Z50 APS-C Mirrorless Camera Coming Soon with 2 DX Z NIKKOR Lenses

First Nikon Z-mount APS-C mirrorless camera is on the horizon. According to recent rumors, it will be called Nikon Z50.

The Nikon Z50 APS-C Mirrorless Camera to be announced soon with  NIKKOR Z DX 16-55mm f/3.5-6.3 Lens and NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 Lens. 

DX-format Nikon Z50 mirrorless camera will feature 20MP APS-c sensor and offer 11fps burst. The new camera will use the Nikon EN-EL25 Battery.

NIKKOR Z 16-35mm f/2.8 Lens Patent

Nikon has filed a new Z-mount lens patent for Nikon full frame mirrorless camera. This patent is for Nikon 16-35mm f/2.8 Z-mount lens designed to be used on Z6 & Z7 cameras.

New rumored Nikon Z-mount lens roadmap have also been leaked. From an 85mm f/1.2 to a 100-300mm f/4, it seems Nikon has a lot of glass in the pipeline for its full-frame mirrorless system. New Rumored Nikon Z Lens Roadmap for 2020/2021

New rumored Nikon Z-mount lens roadmap have been leaked online. According to the rumored lens roadmap now there are a total of 10 new Z-mount lenses added for 2020 and 2021.

From an 85mm f/1.2 to a 100-300mm f/4, it seems Nikon has a lot of glass in the pipeline for its full-frame mirrorless system. The additional roadmap fills in almost all of those TBD blanks in the previous Nikon Z mount lens roadmap.

Nikon D6 and AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR Development Announcement

The development of the Nikon D6 professional DSLR along with the AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR telephoto zoom lens has been announced.  According to the company, the Nikon D6 will be company’s most advanced DSLR to date.

Nikon and Canon tend to launch their flagship cameras around the time of the Olympic Games, which are occurring next summer in Tokyo.

Nikon Release Dedicated 3D Lut For N-Log & Support RAW Video Output For Z6 & Z7 Cameras

Nikon has introduced a dedicated LUT (lookup table) for users of the N-Log feature on the Nikon Z 7 and Z 6 cameras, allowing greater creative control in post-production. Further adding to the Z series’ capabilities for professional and advanced video creators, a new update will also be released later this year for the Z series cameras, which will enable the support of RAW video output from the camera when using a compatible ATOMOS Ninja V digital recorder.

With this firmware release, the Nikon Z7 and Z6 will be the first consumer cameras to officially support RAW video output, currently only available in professional cinema cameras.
