Nikon Z9 Teaser #2 Showing 8K Capabilities

Nikon published a new teaser for their upcoming  Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera. The second Nikon Z9 teaser  is about 8K video.

Nikon Z9 would use a newly developed full-frame stacked CMOS sensor and a new processing engine. It will also shoot 8K video which means the camera will have a sensor with a resolution of at least 33.1 megapixels (as this is the resolution of an 8K frame).

First Official Nikon Z9 Teaser Video

Nikon published their first teaser for the upcoming Nikon Z9 flagship full frame mirrorless camera. Official announcement is expected to happen on October 13th, 2021. The Nikon Z9 will update the Z-series which features cameras such as the Nikon Z7-II high-end full-frame mirrorless camera.

Nikon also confirmed that the Nikon Z9 would use a newly developed full-frame stacked CMOS sensor and a new processing engine. It will also shoot 8K video which means the camera will have a sensor with a resolution of at least 33.1 megapixels (as this is the resolution of an 8K frame).

Nikon NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 Lens to be Announced Soon

The new Nikon NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 lens has been added to overseas retailers and it will be announced very soon. Official announcement expected in the next several days.

As you know Nikon announced the development of the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 and NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2,  compact and lightweight FX-format lenses on June 2, 2021.

The NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 is being developed as a wide-angle prime lens perfect for everyday snapshots, and the NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 as a standard prime lens that will allow users to easily enjoy bokeh as part of their imaging expression. Nikon is rumored to announce the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 & Z 400mm f/2.8 S Lenses soon. Official announcement will probably happen in November/December 2021 along with the Nikon Z9 flagship full frame mirrorless camera.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 S Lens is expected to have a built-in 1.4x converter just like the AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4E TC1.4 FL ED VR lens (with the TC the focal length will be 560mm).

Nikon Z9 to Feature New 45MP BSI Sensor and 160 FPS Burst Capture
