Next Z-mount Lens Could be NIKKOR Z 58mm f/0.95 S Noct Lens

Nikon USA has updated their Z lens product page, and marked the long awaited NIKKOR Z 58mm f/0.95 S Noct lens as “Coming Soon”.

Nikon also updated the currently already announced Z series lenses image with Z 58mm f/0.95 S Noct lens.

Previous reports suggests that the goal of the new Nikon Z Noct Nikkor 58mm f/0.95 lens is to beat the Zeiss Otus performance.  As a result the upcoming Noct is more of a proof of concept for Nikon to show what this mount could do in terms of image quality and speed. Nikon Z8 Rumored to Feature Sony A7R IV’s 60MP Sensor

As you might remember Nikon has signed up to purchase the new Sony 61MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor. The 61MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor showed itself on the newly announced Sony a7R IV mirrorless camera.

New Nikon D6 Specs List, Announcement in Early 2020

New Nikon D6 specs list have been leaked on the web. Within the D6 specs list, the rumor mill claims that the flagship full frame DSLR camera will be announced in early 2020.

The delay in the Nikon D6 is interpreted as the addition of the IBIS feature to the camera. Even these are the early Nikon D6 specs, we guess that the IBIS will be live view only.

According to the previous reports, the upcoming Nikon D6 DSLR camera will feature 24-megapixel full frame image sensor, 4K video recording at 60p and built-in sensor stabilization. Confirmed : Nikon Z9 (D5 Like) Z-mount Mirrorless Camera in the Works

Japanese business publication Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun made an interview with Nikon’s CEO, Mr. Toshikazu Umatate. In this interview he says a flagship mirrorless camera—equivalent to Nikon’s D5 DSLR—will be introduced.

There were rumors about the Nikon D6 DSLR camera that is coming before 2020 Olympics. There is a slight possibility that Nikon postpone the release of Nikon D5 successor camera, instead a high-end mirrorless sports camera could be unveiled in the name of Nikon Z9More here. Nikon Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 S Lens Tested at DxOMark

Nikon Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 S Lens tested at DxOMark website. According to test results the brigh prime Nikon lens achieved an overall score of 38 points. 

Tested on the high-resolution 45.7MP Nikon Z 7 full frame mirrorless camera, the Nikkor Z 35mm F1.8 S ranks as the highest-scoring Nikon 35mm lens with an impressive sharpness sub-score of 30 PMpix at f/4.
