Canon EOS RP Specifications : 24MP, 400g, $1299 Body

Here is the latest Canon EOS RP specifications and price information. According to recent reports, the Canon EOS RP entry-level mirrorless camera to feature 24MP full frame sensor and aggressively priced at $1,299 for body-only.

The official announcement of the Canon EOS RP will be held on February 14, 2019. The company will also announce 8 new RF lenses. Tony Northrup Compares Panasonic S Cameras with Lumix GH5

As you know Panasonic positioned the Lumix S1 and Lumix S1R  cameras for professional still shooters who might dabble a bit in video. So both models are not  video centric and clearly not a successor to the GH5.

Canon EOS RP Price $1599, Rumored Specs, Announcement on February 14

The upcoming Canon EOS RP will be a new entry level full-frame mirrorless camera. It is rumored to be priced at $1599 USD and will have only one card slot. The official announcement of the EOS RP will be on February 14, 2019.

Canon would follow up the EOS R with a lower-end model. According to recent reports, the EOS RP will be cheaper and shoot 4K video from a 26MP sensor. Olympus E-M1X video features review

Dpreview posted a video review of the Olympus E-M1X camera about its video features. While Olympus isn’t known for the video features on its cameras, the OM-D E–M1X is the company’s most advanced model.

Most video features of Olympus E-M1X are unchanged from the E-M1 II. There’s a new ability to change autofocus points during video capture using a dedicated joystick control, and a new maximum frame rate of 120 fps for Full HD or HD capture. You can shoot 4K video (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) at 24, 25 or 30 frames per second, and Full HD or HD (1,280 x 720 pixels) at 24, 25, 30, 50, 60 or 120 frames per second.
