Panasonic Released Firmware Update V1.5 for Lumix S1, S1R Cameras

Panasonic releases minor firmware update for its Lumix S1S1R full frame mirrorless cameras. Firmware update version 1.5  adds new frame rate options for its NTSC region models.

Firmware version 1.5 adds support for ProGrade Digital CFexpress Type B cards as well as a new 50p/25p video frame rate option for NTSC region cameras. Panasonic has also disabled the ‘Delete All’ touch control option in playback mode to minimize the possibility of accidentally deleting all of your media.

Firmware version 1.5 for the S1 and S1R is available to download on Panasonic’s support page.

Olympus ED 150-400mm f/4.5 Pro Lens to be Released in Fall 2020

Already in development, the new super telephoto zoom lens Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC 1.25x IS PRO will be released around Fall in 2020.

A German interview with Olympus Forum shared some interesting details about the future Olympus products. According to the interview the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC 1.25x IS PRO Lens will be available in late 2020. The company might have plans for a Mark II of PEN-F model.
