The cameras, which are expected to be announced by the end of 2020, are slowly emerging and Olympus E-M10 IV is one of them. When we look at the list of features, we can say that Olympus has added the 20MP sensor and 5-axis in-body stabilization to its new models by default.

Olympus will soon announce a new OM-D E-M10 Mark IV camera and the M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm f/5.0-6.3 IS lens from the latest roadmap. The entry-level Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV Micro Four Thirds camera is expected to be announced in the next several weeks and will replace the current Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III model. Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 12K Film Camera Announced

Blackmagic Design has announced Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K, a new digital film camera with an advanced 12,288 x 6,480 12K Super 35 image sensor, 14 stops of dynamic range and high frame rate shooting at up to 60 frames per second in 12K at 80 megapixels per frame. The new Blackmagic Generation 5 Color Science and higher Blackmagic RAW performance, all in the award winning URSA Mini Pro camera body.

The US price is $9,995 and it is now available for pre-order at B&HAdorama. Shipping will start at the beginning of August 2020.

New Firmware Updates for Panasonic GH5, GH5S, G9, G95, G85 and GX9

Panasonic announced a minor firmware updates for GH5, GH5S, G9G95, G85, GX9 mirrorless cameras and the upcoming release of software programs “LUMIX Streaming (Beta)” for Mac and the development of “LUMIX Webcam Software” for Win/Mac.

The firmware update programs are aimed to improve compatibility with the new Tripod Grip DMW-SHGR1 and operational stability with LUMIX G VARIO 12-32mm / F3.5-5.6 ASPH. /MEGA O.I.S.(H-FS12032) lens. Meanwhile, “LUMIX Streaming (Beta)” and “LUMIX Webcam Software” enhance work-at-home activities using LUMIX cameras.

Olympus Unveils Updated Lens Roadmap Featuring New Lenses

According to recent announcement from Olympus, the new super telephoto zoom lens Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC 1.25x IS PRO will be released in winter of 2020.

The Olympus 150-400mm F4.5 Pro lens will be stabilized and work with the 5-axis IS systems built into modern Olympus cameras for extra shake reduction. Fully weather-sealed lens from Olympus could work at temperatures as low as -10°C/+14°F. Olympus also unveiled a new lens roadmap, showcasing a new 8-25mm lens as well as a telephoto macro. Olympus Sells its Camera Business to JIP Inc

Olympus Imaging Business has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Japan Industrial Partners, Inc. (JIP). According to the MOU, both companies are entering into further discussions about the potential transfer of Olympus’ long-standing imaging business to JIP by the end of 2020.

Olympus imaging business will continue to release Micro Four Thirds cameras and lenses under the Olympus and ZUIKO names. The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III is the latest Micro Four Thirds camera with a 20.4 Megapixel Live MOS sensor , in-body image stabilization with up to 7.5 stops of shake reduction and the same processor as the E-M1X.

Panasonic G100 Vlogging Micro Four Thirds Camera

Panasonic has announced the new Panasonic G100 Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera, aimed at vloggers, videographers, and photographers. The new Lumix G100 is compact and lightweight, with a vari-angle screen.

Designed to be the ideal “Vlogging” camera, it is smaller than an iPhone XR, offers 4K 30p video recording and has a number of features that will appeal to the videographer, as well as photographers.

The camera uses the same 20MP Four Thirds sensor as many other Panasonic cameras. While it does not have in-body image stabilization, the new Lumix G100 features aa ‘hybrid’ 5-axis IS system when recording video (4-axis for 4K).

Alongside the G100 comes the DMW-SHGR1 tripod grip ($99). It can be a small selfie stick (with still and video capture buttons) or a mini tripod. The grip is powered by the camera’s micro USB port.

This new camera cost $697.99 with 12-32mm Lens kit, first available for pre-order at B&HAmazon. Shipping will start on late July.
