Fujifilm X-S10 to be Announced on October 16th

Fujifilm has registered a new camera code “FF200001” and looks like this new camera will be named Fujifilm X-S10. It will be a new mid-range APS-C x-mount mirrorless camera and expected to be announced on October 16th.

The Fujifilm X-S10 will be an APS-C mirrorless interchangeable lens camera and feature with IBIS.

The mid-range segmentation means that the X-S10 will be placed into the X-T30 and X-E3 segment. This means it won’t be crazy-cheap like a X-T200, but also not as expensive as the Fujifilm X-T4.

New Fujifilm Firmware Released : X-T4, X-T3, X-T2, X-T1, X-H1, X-Pro3, X-Pro2, X-Pro1, X-E3, X-T20 & X-T30

Fujifilm has released the new firmware updates for X-T4, X-T3, X-T2, X-T1, X-H1, X-Pro3, X-Pro2, X-Pro1, X-E3, X-T20 & X-T30 cameras.

This firmware is mainly improves support for the Fujinon XF50mmF1.0 R WR lens (Amazon, B&H, Adorama).

This latest update enhances the lens’ AF speed and enables Color Shading Correction to mitigate subtle color casts when images are made at the lens’ maximum F1.0 aperture. Please note that the lens must be connected to a supported X Series camera body for the firmware enhancements to take effect.

Fujifilm X-Pro3 Firmware Update Version 1.05 Released

Fujifilm released a new firmware update for Fujifilm X-Pro3 rangefinder mirrorless camera. The new firmware 1.0.5 simply fixes an issue.

Fujifilm X-Pro3 Beats X-T3 and X-T30 Low Light PDR Performance

Photons to Photos added the Fujifilm X-Pro3 to their database. As a result you can now compare the dynamic range and low-light performance to all other cameras in their database.

When compared with the two X-series cameras; Fujifilm X-T3 and Fujifilm X-T30, the Fujifilm X-Pro3 shows a better performance over the X-T3 and X-T30.

Fujifilm X100V Rumored to Feature Two-Way Tilt Screen

According to latest rumors surfaced over the web, the Fuji X100F successor is expected to arrive in February 2020. The model name is not confirmed yet but the upcoming Fujifilm X100V is rumored to fetaure two-way tilt screen.

So as mentioned earlier the upcoming Fujifilm X100V will not have the same reversible touch screen from the new X-Pro3 (Amazon, B&H, Adorama).
