At a glance successor to the GFX 100 (Amazon, B&H, Adorama) features 102MP 43.8 x 32.9mm BSI CMOS Sensor and comes with IBIS inside. You can also use Pixel Shift Multi-Shot to create ultra-high resolution 400MP stills. In terms of video GFX100S can record 4K/30p footage in 10-bit F-log or 12-bit ProRes RAW.

DPReview has published their Fujifilm GF 30mm f/3.5 R WR Lens review and test results. The prime lens for mirrorless medium format cameras achieves an amazing 84% overall score and Silver Award.

This Fujifilm GF 30mm f/3.5 R WR Lens, the 12th GF lens in its lineup, has the maximum aperture of F3.5 and the focal length of 30mm (equivalent to 24mm in the 35mm film format).

Irix 45mm f / 1.4 GFX for Fujifilm Medium Format Announced

Irix has officially announced the Irix 45mm f / 1.4 GFX lens for Fujfiilm medium format cameras.

Irix 45mm f/1.4 is a standard 45mm wide-angle lens with a dedicated mount that can be used with Fujifilm GFX series cameras equipped with medium format sensors.

VILTROX 85mm f/1.8 V1 Firmware 1.20 Released

Viltorx released firmware 1.20 for the  85mm f/1.8 V1 lens.

The Viltrox AF 85mm F1.8  is a relatively light lens and weighes only 484g. The minimum focusing distance is 0.8m with a Macro reproduction ratio of 1:8. The optical design of the Sony 85mm 1.8 lens consists of 10 elements in 7 groups, among which there is one aspherical element. In addition, the manufacturer claims that its lens is perfect for shooting dynamic scenes and videos.

Venus Optics Announced New f/0,95 Argus Lenses for Sony E, Fuji X and MFT

Venus Optics announced new “Argus” lenses with f/0,95 aperture. New f/0,95 Argus lenses are available in Sony E, Fuji X and MFT mounts. The names of these lenses are 25mm f/0,95 for MFT, 33mm f/0,95 for Fuji X, 35mm and 45mm f/0,95 for Sony E.

The lenses will be available in Q2-Q3 and preorders should open soon. Venus Optics lenses are sold at Adorama and B&H.

NiSi 15mm f/4 Lens for Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, and Fujifilm X

NiSi Optics has announced the NiSi 15mm f/4 wide-angle manual focus lens for full-frame mirrrless. The US price of the lens is $579.00 and available for pre-order. You can also find NiSi products at Amazon, and B&HPhoto. NiSi 15mm f/4 full-frame lens is available for Nikon Z, Canon R, Sony E, and Fuji X mounts.

The fully-manual lens features an all-metal construction and is comprised of 12 elements in 10 groups, including one double-side aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion elements. It has an aperture range of F4 through F22 and uses a ten-blade aperture diaphragm, which helps to create the signature sunstars this lens is named after. Fujifilm GFX 100S, X-E4, GF 80mm f/1.7, XF 27mm f/2.8 II, XF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 to be Announced on January 27

Fujifilm will have a major product announcement on January 27th, 2021. At least two new Fujfilm cameras and three new lenses are expected to be announced on that day.

Lens Tip : Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1 R WR Review

Here is a another new Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1 R WR lens review published on Lens Tip. The US price is $1,499.95 and it is now in stock at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.

Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1 R WR lens is a very good option if you do not own a XF56mm and would like weather resistance. It has a rounded diaphragm and its wide maximum aperture means that, paired with Fujifilm’s X-Pro3 and X-T4 cameras, users can autofocus at a luminance level of -7EV.
