Canon will soon announce a new Canon EOS RS high-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera in early February, 2020, which will replace both the Canon EOS 5DS and Canon EOS 5DS R DSLRs.
The name of this camera previously rumored as Canon EOS RS. But keep in mind that this only a moniker leaked by the rumor mill, means that the high resolution EOS R body might have a totally different name.

Canon’s plans for exotic RF-mount lenses continues, with new designs for ultra-fast ultra wide-angle optics.
As a result the company filed patents for Canon RF 18mm f/1.0, Canon RF 18mm f/1.2 and Canon RF 25mm f/1.2 optics. Both lenses are not in Canon’s RF lens roadmap.

Canon EOS RS high-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to be announced in early 2020. According to latest rumors, Canon will announce a new high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to replace current EOS 5DS/5DS R in February of 2020. This high-resolution monster is expected to be named as Canon EOS RS.
Canon EOS RS will be equipped with Canon’s next-generation sensors, probably 60-80MP as rumored before, new DIGIC processors and a new form factor that will include the smart controller we first saw on the EOS-1D X Mark III. This will not be the “pro” body that people are clamouring for, but it will be upmarket from the EOS R. Canon EOS Ra astrophotography camera is now officially announced. It is the same identical specs to the EOS R, featuring 30MP sensor, 3.69M-dot OLED EVF, dot-matrix LED panel and magnesium-alloy body.
Canon has modified the IR filter in front of the full-frame sensor, to allow the EOS Ra to capture four times the amount of hydrogen alpha rays (656nm wavelength) compared to the standard EOS R camera. Canon EOS Ra also offers a 30x magnification option in the EVF and in Live View, a significant increase from the 10x magnification found in the standard EOS R.
