According to Nokishita Camera, Canon has just registered a new lens SKU 4234C005AA at Russia certification body. More Canon EOS R6 specs have been leaked as it looks like a lower-end model than the EOS R5.
According to recent reports, Canon will also announce the EOS R6 FF MILC before Summer if everything goes well. Keep in mind that the production of the Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6 have been delayed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Less than 1/4 of Canon’s manufacturing capacity has been impacted because of the supply chain issues from the Coronavirus.
First Canon EOS R6 specs showed us that it will feature 20MP sensor, IBIS and 12fps shooting speed and 4K video recording at 60p. Canon EOS R7 APS-C mirrorless camera to be announced in 2021. According to latest rumors, the name of this new APS-C EOS R body would be Canon EOS R7.
To make the system usable Canon will also announce three new RF lenses for the APS-C mirrorless cameras. This lineup of RF-series APS-c lenses will include standart zoom, a fixed bright prime and a telephoto. New lenses expected to arrive with the Canon EOS R7 APS-c mirrorless camera.
On the other hand there has been talks about that this new Canon EOS R7 body could be the real replacement for the aging EOS 7D Mark II.
