Canon EOS R5 Specifications

Rumored Canon EOS R5 specifications surfaced over the web today.

The name of the upcoming Canon full frame mirrorless camera is almost clear and will be called the Canon EOS R5.  The first specs include a 45mp full-frame sensor, IBIS, 12fps mechanical and 20fps electronic burst. It will use a similar battery to the 5D Mark IV, can shoot 4K/120p video, and may even be able to shoot 8K/30p video.

Check out the latest Canon EOS Rs specifications surfaced on the web. Canon is on the verge to announce the Canon EOS RS  in February, 2020. The high-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera is expected to replace both the Canon EOS 5DS/5DS R DSLRs.

The Canon EOS Rs would be the first of three rumored EOS R full frame bodies that will be announced in 2020. According to recent reports, new Canon EOS RS specs include 45MP full frame sensor, IBIS and 14fps burst mode.

New Canon Rumors: Three New Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras in 2020

New Canon rumors surfaced on the web. According to recent reports, the company will unveil three new full frame mirrorless cameras in 2020.

The first one is Canon high-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera which could be named as Canon EOS RS. It will be officially announced in February, before the CP+ 2020 event.

The second one would be a Canon full frame mirrorless camera price below the Canon EOS RP, could be named Canon EOS RM. Last year, Canon has already confirmed that this kind of camera is a possibility. Several compact and cheap RF lenses will also be coming along with this camera. Canon Focuses on RF Lenses, no New EF Lens Unless Market Demands It

During the EOS-1D X Mark III launch event, Canon has confirmed that they are now focus on RF lenses and EOS R mirrorless system. Canon said that there will be no new EF mount lenses unless they are demanded by the market.

Canon EOS RS Rumored Specifications : 75MP, DIGIC 9

Canon will soon announce a new Canon EOS RS high-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera in early February, 2020, which will replace both the Canon EOS 5DS and Canon EOS 5DS R DSLRs.

The name of this camera previously rumored as Canon EOS RS. But keep in mind that this only a moniker leaked by the rumor mill, means that the high resolution EOS R body might have a totally different name.

Canon EOS RS High Megapixel Full Frame Mirrorless Camera to be Announced in February, 2020

Canon EOS RS high-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to be announced in early 2020. According to latest rumors, Canon will announce a new high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to replace current EOS 5DS/5DS R in February of 2020. This high-resolution monster is expected to be named as Canon EOS RS.

Canon EOS RS will be equipped with Canon’s next-generation sensors, probably 60-80MP as rumored before, new DIGIC processors and a new form factor that will include the smart controller we first saw on the EOS-1D X Mark III. This will not be the “pro” body that people are clamouring for, but it will be upmarket from the EOS R. Canon is not expected to announce any new cameras & lenses in the rest of 2019. Canon users should see only the  (Release Date in December) and .

Meantime Canon is working on a high-megapixel EOS R full frame mirrorless camera, which will replace both the Canon EOS 5DS/5DS R DSLRs. It will be called as Canon EOS RS with a 80MP full frame sensor.

Canon EOS Ra Astrophotography Camera Coming in 2020

Canon is planning to introduce a full frame mirrorless camera in EOS R lineup dedicated for astrophotography. This model will be named as Canon EOS Ra, and it is already appeared on an internal Canon roadmap for 2020.

In the past, Canon has released several DSLR models such as EOS 20Da and EOS 60Da for astrophotography. Currently, there is no specs about this EOS Ra full frame astrophotography camera..
