DxOMark published their tests and review of 24.2MP sensor inside the Canon EOS R8 camera ($1,499).
According to sensor review, the Canon EOS R8 gets an outstanding overall DxOmark score of 93 points, with a combination of 24.5 bits color depth, 14.7 EV dynamic range, and 3295 ISO low-light score.

Now the new Canon EOS R8, R50, RF 24-50mm F4.5-6.3, RF-S 55-210mm F5-7.1 IS STM Lenses are available for pre-order at Adorama | B&H Photo. All products will be available in Spring 2023.

Finally, some definitive rumors started to come on the Canon side. Canon will announce two camera bodies very soon alongside the recently uncovered Canon RF 24-50mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM.
The long rumored Canon EOS R8 will be announced, along with the Canon EOS R50. If we’re going by the information in this post, the Canon EOS R8 will be full-frame and the Canon EOS R50 will be APS-C and will likely be the evolution of the EOS M system to the RF mount.

According to latest Canon rumors, the upcoming Canon EOS R8 mirrorless camera will be announced around CP+ 2023 in February in February 2023 (February 23-26).
Reportedly, this Canon EOS R8 camera will have a unique “flippy screen” and will be outfitted with the same 24.2MP image sensor found in its older brother, the EOS R10. All signs point to the EOS R8 fitting nicely in the lineup between the EOS R7 and EOS R10. Here are some more leaked information for the Canon EOS R6 Mark II specifications. The 2nd version of EOS R6 camera is expected to be announced soon.
More items have been added to the list of credible specs for the EOS R6 Mark II. Of these, “digital teleconverter” and “hybrid audio” are functions that are not used in the current model, and seem to be the first functions to be introduced in the R6 Mark II.
