IBIS Comparison: Canon EOS R5 vs Sony a1

Sony has incorporated In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) in their cameras for many years while Canon first bring the IBIS last year into their camera (Canon EOS R5 and Canon EOS R6). So the question, is Sony’s IBIS better than Canon’s?

The-Digital-Picture has completed an exhaustive IBIS comparison between the Sony a1 and Canon EOS R5 to find out the results. You can find the IBIS capabilities of the Canon R5 (AmazonB&HAdoramaagainst the Sony a1 (AmazonB&HAdorama).

Canon EOS R6 Won #1 Place : Best Selling Camera in May 2021

One of the nation’s leading specialist photographic retailers, MapCamera published its list of the top ten best-selling new cameras, with the Canon EOS R6 taking pride of place atop the chart. Canon EOS R6 tops the list for being the most sold camera in May, leading retailer in Japan.

The Canon EOS R6 won the No.1 best seller while the Canon EOS R5 is ranked third this time. The Fujifilm X-S10, which has been selling well since its launch in November last year, came in second. And the RICOH GR III won the fourth place.
