According to dimensions in A6700 specs we can foresee that this will be reflected in a bigger body. Olympus E-M1X and Sony A7III Freeze Test

Tony Northrup put the newly announced Olympus E-M1X and Sony A7 III camera to freeze test.

Tony’s extreme brutal testing involved by freezing the Olympus E-M1X (Adorama | B&H | Amazon) in ice with a Sony a7 III to test the weather sealing. Then, he did some astrophotography shots to test the eye detect autofocus and portraits, low-light autofocus, sports, stabilization (4 seconds handheld!), Hi-res mode (both tripod and handheld high res), and the built-in ND filter.

Sony A9 II, A7S III and A7R IV to Feature 8K Video

Sony is actively working to implement 8K videos for the upcoming mirrorless cameras.  According to recent reports, the cameras that are likely to have 8K video in the near future are Sony A9 II, A7S III and A7R IV.

The company will allegedly announce two new sensors. One of the Sony full frame sensor will be capable of 60 megapixel stills, 16 channels, and 8K video recording. Sony Announced Major Firmware for a9 & a7R III & a7 III

Sony announced major firmware updates for the Alpha A9, A7 III and a7R III camera.

The a9 updates adds a range of features, including improved tracking in both stills and video, as well as extending Eye AF to animals, something Sony showed at Photokina back in September. The a7R III and a7 III will also gain the improved Eye-AF and animal Eye AF, as well as time-lapse capabilities.

The a9  (Amazon/B&H Photo/Adorama)  firmware updates will be coming in two waves: version 5.0 will be available in March while version 6.0 is slated for ‘summer.’ Firmware version 3.0 for the a7 III and a7R III will arrive in April. You can see the full details below.
