New Firmware Features Guide for Fujifilm X-T4 and X-S10

Fujifilm has released these firmware updates for the following cameras: X-T4, X-S10, X100V, X-Pro3, GFX100S and GFX100.

Since the firmware for the Fujifilm X-T4 and Fujifilm X-S10 add support for the Tascam CA-XLR2d-F XLR, Fujifilm did release also a New Features Guide for these two cameras.

A future update should bring support for Tascam CA-XLR2d-F XLR also to the Fujifilm GFX100S.

Rumors : Fujifilm X-H2 to Feature a New 26MP Sensor

The Fujifilm X-H2 will be the first X-series camera to introduce a new sensor and new image processor. Now according to latest Fuji rumors, the upcoming Fujifilm X-H2 camera is said to feature a new 26MP X-Trans BSI CMOS Sensor.

Voigtländer Nokton 23mm f/1.2 X Officially Announced

Cosina announces Voigtländer Nokton 23mm f/1.2 Lens for Fujifilm X-mount cameras. The US price of the lens is $780 and will start shipping in April. Check availability at BHphoto, AmazonUS, Adorama

The NOKTON 23mm F1.2 Aspherical X mount is a large-diameter quasi-wide-angle lens designed exclusively for the Fujifilm X mount, and has an angle of view equivalent to 35mm in full-frame equivalent. The lens configuration uses the latest optical system that uses one double-sided aspherical lens and two anomalous partially dispersed glasses out of 10 elements in 6 groups. Despite its compact size, it has excellent descriptive power with excellent resolution even when the aperture is wide open, and a large blur can be obtained due to the large aperture of F1.2.

Fujifilm X/GFX New Firmware Updates Released

Fujifilm discovered a bug happening with twelve of their cameras when used with Mac computers. The first batch of firmware had been released a few days ago here and was for the following cameras:  X-T4, X-T3, X-S10, GFX100S, GFX100 and GFX50S.

Three new Voigtlander lenses for Nikon Z & one for Fujifilm X

Cosina announces three new Voigtlander lenses for Nikon Z, one for Fujifilm X and an E-mount close-focus adapter. Two of these lenses are for full-frame mirrorless and two of them are for APS-C. The release date and pricing information is not yet available.

Sigma Unveils 16mm, 30mm, 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lenses for Fujifilm X Mount

It’s finally official. Sigma 16mm f/1.4, 30mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lenses for Fujifilm X Mount now available for pre-order. Sigma officially announced the new 16mm f/1.4, 30mm f/1.4 and 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lenses for Fujifilm X Mount.

The 16mm F1.4 DC DN, 30mm F1.4 DC DN and 56mm F1.4 DC DN mark Sigma’s first offerings for Fujifilm’s APS-C interchangeable lens camera system and are nearly identical to their predecessors, which were previously released for Canon EF-M mount, L-mount, Micro Four Thirds and Sony E-mount cameras.

All three lenses are set to be available in April 2022 at authorized Sigma retailers.

Three Sigma Lenses Rumored for Fujifilm X-mount

In addition to the newly announced Sigma 20mm F2.0 DG DN Contemporary lens ($699 at B&HPhoto and Adorama) for Sony FE and Leica L mounts, three new Sigma lenses are on the horizon for Fujifilm X-mount.

According to the latest Fujifilm rumors, these lenses will be officially announced on February 21st, 2022. The upcoming Sigma X mount autofocus lenses will be Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary, Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary, Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary. Considering the other mounts, the price range for these Sigma X mount autofocus lenses goes from $339 to $479 depending on the lens.

Sigma lenses have been getting more and more popular in recent years. product line consists mainly of variable aperture zoom lenses for general use, such as standard and telephoto zoom lenses for APS-C cameras.
