Panasonic Lumix DC-S1H 6K Full Frame Mirrorless Camera (Price $4,000, Coming Fall 2019)

Panasonic has officially announced the development of the new Lumix DC-S1H 6K Full Frame Mirrorless Camera. The Lumix S1H is the world’s first camera capable of video recording at 6K/24p (3:2 aspect ratio), 5.9K/30p (16:9 aspect ratio), and 10-bit 60p 4K/C4K.

Panasonic Lumix DC-S1H has been designed to produce video virtually identical to that of Panasonic’s pro-level VariCam cinema camera, through the use of V-Log and V-Gamut.

Olympus Tough TG-6 is a modest update to its predecessor, with the majority of its changes related to macro and underwater shooting.

Olympus Tough TG-6 is waterproof to a depth of 50 feet (15m), dustproof, shockproof to 7 feet (2.4m), crushproof to 100 kgf, freezeproof to 14oF (-10°C), and features a dual-pane protective glass construction for superb anti-fogging performance.

DJI Osmo Action 4K Camera Officially Announced, Price $349

DJI Osmo Action DJI’s first dedicated action 4K camera announced.

DJI Osmo Action 4K Camera  offers 4K, 60fps video recording, dual screens, with both a rear and a front screen built-in, as well as “state of the art” electronic image stabilisation, which DJI are calling “RockSteady”. The camera has a 12mp 1/2.3inch sensor, and is waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, as well as freezeproof.

Rokinon/Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE Lens Announced

Rokinon has officially announced the new Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens today. This is a very compact FE lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras. The US price for this lens is $399 and available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video.

A simple but effective lens, the Rokinon 45mm offers a relatively fast f/1.8 maximum aperture to balance size and speed as it manages to weigh just 5.7 oz and measure 2.2″ long. It uses aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to minimize various aberrations and an Ultra Multi-Coating reduces flare and ghosting.
