Development announcement of SIGMA 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS｜Sports

Sigma has announced the development of the Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS Sports lens for E mount and L-mount mirrorless cameras.

Specs released by Sigma France show it will have 20 elements in 15 groups, including six fluorite-like FLD elements, two super-low dispersion elements and three aspherical lenses. It will have a 77mm filter diameter and will weigh 1345g (47.4 oz) in L-mount form and 10g (0.7 oz) less in E-mount.

Pricing has not yet been announced but the company says it will be available from December this year. This is going to be an affordable alternative to the current super expensive (and excellent performance) Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II Lens. Nikon officially announced the new Nikon Nikkor Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena Lens. The US price is $2,496.95 and it will be released in mid-October, 2023. Now the new Nikon Nikkor Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena Lens is available for pre-order at  B&H Photo, Adorama and Amazon.

The name “Plena” is derived from the Latin term plenum, which denotes the state of a space being completely full. DJI Mini 4 Pro Officially Announced, Available for Pre-Order

DJI has just announced the DJI Mini 4 Pro, the latest model in its Mini series of compact and foldable sub-250g drones.

The single camera on the Mini 4 Pro has a Type 1/1.3 CMOS sensor with dual native ISO, a 24mm (equiv.) lens, and a fixed F1.7 aperture. It can capture 48MP images and rests on a 3-axis gimbal that can tilt 60º upward. The camera is capable of cropping in up to 2X for photos and up to 4X when capturing video.

The Mini 4 Pro with DJI RC-N2 Remote Controller and one Intelligent Flight battery starts at $759. This same package, with the RC 2 Remote Controller, is $959. The DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo, which includes the RC 2, three Intelligent Flight batteries, a two-way charging hub, and a carrying bag costs $1,099 while the Fly More Combo Plus, with Intelligent Flight Plus batteries that power the drone up to 45 minutes, comes out to $1,159.

Nikon Zf Officially Announced, Priced $1,996.95, Available for Pre-Order

Nikon has officially announced the new Nikon Zf. It delivers full-frame image quality and UHD 4K video recording, offering exceptional low-light imaging performance, fast and efficient autofocus, an advanced 8-stop 5-axis vibration reduction system, high-resolution pixel-shift shooting technology, and a large 3.2″ vari-angle touchscreen.

It serves as the mirrorless successor to the Nikon Df DSLR announced in 2013 and shares similarities with the APS-C format Nikon Z fc, but with superior build quality.

Nikon Zf Price & Release Date

The retro-styled, full-frame 24.5MP Nikon Z f, price $2000 / £2299 / €2599, is based on the FM2 from the 1980s and is set to go on sale in mid-October.
