Rokinon/Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE Lens Announced

Rokinon has officially announced the new Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE lens today. This is a very compact FE lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras. The US price for this lens is $399 and available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video.

A simple but effective lens, the Rokinon 45mm offers a relatively fast f/1.8 maximum aperture to balance size and speed as it manages to weigh just 5.7 oz and measure 2.2″ long. It uses aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to minimize various aberrations and an Ultra Multi-Coating reduces flare and ghosting. Additionally, it can focus as close as 1.5′ and has a 9-bladed circular aperture for smooth bokeh. Check out the Rokinon/Samyang AF 45mm f/1.8 FE Lens key features.
