Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports Lens Announced

Sigma officially unveils the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports Lens.

Available in Sony E and Leica L mounts, this is the first Sports-series lens built specifically for full-frame mirrorless cameras and is also the longest DG DN lens currently available from Sigma.

Sony has announced the first Alpha series interchangeable lens vlog camera, the new ZV-E10.

The US price is $698 and shipping will start by the end of August 2021.  The Sony ZV-E10 is available for pre-order at B&H & Adorama.

Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD Lens for Fujifilm and Sony

Tamron has announced the development of the 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD lens – the first Tamron lens for Fujifilm X-mount, which will also be available in Sony E-mount.

With a minimum focus distance of 6 inches, the 18-300mm can deliver an impressive maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.

The Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A2 VC VXD is expected to be available later this year, but pricing information has yet to be released.

Sony a7R V Coming in 2022 with 102MP Sensor?

According to recent reports, the Sony a7R V will be released in 2022 with a new 102MP full frame sensor. Of course, the image here is not real, but the expectation is that the sensor resolution of the Sony A7RV will be 102MP.

The Sony A7R series is a high resolution mirrorless camera model designed not for video shooters but for photographers who care about details

Sony released the new firmware update version 3.10 for Sony a9 II and firmware update version 4.01 for Sony a7 III cameras.

Tamron 18-300mm APS-c Lens for Sony E-mount Coming Soon

For Sony APS-c format mirrorless camera users, we have good news. Tamron will be releasing a new travel, walking around lens soon. According to the latest rumors, it is stated that the new Tamron telephoto zoom lens will have a focal length of 18-300mm. The aperture size is not yet clear.

Currently, the exact announcement date is still unknown. But this Tamron 18-300mm APS-C lens is expected to be a great travel lens for Sony APS-C E-mount mirrorless cameras.

Sony Airpeak S1 Professional Drone Announced

Sony announced the “Airpeak S1” as the first model in Airpeak line. The drone has been developed with the intention of contributing to the further development of drones and the utmost in value creation.

Airpeak S1 users have the ability to choose between a variety of Alpha cameras to mount on their drone. The Alpha 9, 7S and 7R series are all compatible, as is the FX3. Sony’s Alpha 1, which is capable of shooting 8K video, is also available as an option.

The commercial drone, Airpeak S1 will be the world’s smallest drone able to be equipped with a full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens α camera, enabling dynamic and precise flight with high agility by using a proprietary motor, propeller, control system and sensing technology, and supporting the creative expression of its users to the fullest. It also supports the production of high-quality aerial images with a remote controller that can control the aircraft at will, obstacle detection and automatic flight control via sensing, and increased flight safety via cloud management of the aircraft and flight information.

The US price for Airpeak S1 is $9,000. The official release will be in fall 2021.
