Meike Mini Prime Cine Lens Set For RF Mount Now Available

Meike has introduced a new cine lens collection that features 5 popular focal lengths ranging from 10mm to 85mm. Meike has grouped 5 of its most popular cine lenses into one kit that is available in RF, E, X and M43 mounts.

Featured in the 5* Cine Lens Kit are the MK-35mm T2.2, MK-50mm T2.2, MK-65mm T2.2, MK-85mm T2.2 and the just-announced MK-10mm T2.2. Prices range from £1570.13 to £1784.58 and the kits are available now.

Also announced today and featured in the kit line-up is the Meike 10mm T2.2 lens which has the following specs:

Tamron 20mm, 24mm, 35mm f/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2 Lens Firmware Ver.3 Now Available

Tamron released a new firmware update for 20mm, 24mm, and 35mm F2.8 Di III OSD M 1:2 Lenses. The new firmware solves the issue of focus mode may switch from AF to MF during video recording with the SONY α7IV.

These ‘Di III OSD M1:2’ lenses are in three focal lengths: a 20mm f/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2, 24mm f/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2, and 35mm f/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2 lens. Rumors : Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens Coming Soon

According to latest Sony rumors, the Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II will be announced next. After the announcement of the new Sony FE PZ 16-35mm f/4 G lens, it is expected that Sony will announce two more lenses. It is being said that the first one will be Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II Lens and the other one would be the FE 85mm f/1.2 GM lens.

As mentioned earlier, Sony ZV-style cameras and the a7R V and a9 III will be available later this year.

Sony released a new firmware update 1.01 for the Sony A7IV camera. Sony a7 IV Firmware Update 1.01 improves Eye AF Accuracy and compatibility with the Sony FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 Lens.

DxOMark completed their full in-depth review for 33MP BSI-CMOS sensor inside the Sony A7 IV camera. According to their sensor review; the Sony a7 IV (Amazon, B&H, Adorama) achieved an excellent overall DxOMark sensor score of 97 points, with a combination of 25.4 bits color depth, 14.7 EV dynamic range, and 3379 ISO low-light score. Samyang launches AF 35mm F1.4 FE II lens for Sony E-mount

Samyang, also known as Rokinon, has announced the AF 35mm F1.4 FE II, designed for use with Sony full-frame E-mount and Sony APS-C cameras.

The main two new features are the Focus Hold button which keeps the lens locked to a specific focus distance and the Custom Switch which can be used to allow silent adjustment of the aperture.

The Samyang AF 35mm F1.4 FE II joins the Samyang AF 50mm F1.4 FE II in the latest line-up of Samyang lenses that have had an update with the 50mm being announced in November 2021 and updating the original 50mm f/1.4 FE lens which launched over 5 years ago.

The Samyang AF 35mm F1.4 FE II price and release date weren’t revealed at the time of writing. (check for US pricing).

Sony FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G Lens Officially Announced for $1,198, Available for Pre-Order

Sony has announced the Sony FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G Lens, price tag $1,200, the world’s lightest constant f/4 wide-angle zoom lens for Sony full frame E-mount cameras.

The US price of the lens is $1,200 and available for pre-order at BHphoto. Shipping of the FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G (model SELP1635G) will start from June 2022.
