Sigma fp L camera will use a 60MP sensor and the full frame mirrorless model is reportedly to be announced on March 23rd.
Finally, we got confirmation that the upcoming Sigma camera uses a 60-megapixel full-frame sensor made by Sony. The model code of the sensor is IMX 513BQR.
The camera looks pretty much the same as the original Sigma fp. The question remains, of course, what the “L” stands for in the Sigma fp L name. The addition of a new letter on a product name often signifies a minor upgrade or feature swap, as opposed to a completely new model.
