Techinsights reported that Nikon Z9 camera image sensor (IMX609AQJ) is made by Sony Semiconductor (a different company from Sony).
The Nikon Z9 competitors in this price range are mainly the “Canon EOS R3” and “Sony a1“. Nikon Z9 sensor is a high-performance sensor of the same type as the Sony A1 that has both high-speed readout and image quality. DxOMark had the same score as Sony A1, so the A1 sensor is also the same.

Panasonic has announced new firmware for the GH6 that will add raw video data output over HDMI in DCI 4K at up to 120fps, as well as more internal recording options.
Panasonic has announced new firmware will become available for the Lumix GH6 on July 5, 2022.
Panasonic GH6 Firmware Version 2.0 will bring ProRes RAW recording at frame rates of up to 119.88p in DCI 4K and 59.94p in 5.7K when the camera is tethered to the Atomos Ninja V+. The original Ninja V only supports up to 59.94p in DCI 4K and 29.97p in 5.7, so the newer V+ is needed for the higher frame rate options. Anamorphic shooters will get ProRes RAW 4:3 in 5.8K at up to 29.97p and 4.4K at up to 59.94p with the Ninja V+, or 5.8K-A up to 25p with the original Ninja V.

Fujifilm X-H2 camera coming with HR 40MP Sensor in September. In addition to the Fujifilm X-H2S mirrorless camera, XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 R LM OIS WR super telephoto zoom, and XF 18-120mm f/4 R LM PZ WR lenses, Fuji has also announced a new 40MP CMOS sensor, the X-Trans CMOS 5HR. Fujifilm says this new sensor ‘goes beyond the format boundaries to deliver ultra-high image quality.’ this new sensor will be inside Fujifilm’s forthcoming X-H2 camera, which we’ll probably meet at the next X-Summit event in September 2022. According to Olympus rumors, new OM Digital OM-5 camera to be announced soon with 41MP BSI live-MOS Sensor (total 47MP). The Micro Four Thirds camera will be capable of high-speed continuous shooting at 20 frames per second.
OM SYSTEM OM-5 is expected to be announced in July / August 2022, and it is rumored that it will not be the successor to the current “OM-D E-M5 Mark III“. This information is coming from several sources on the Chinese social media platform Weibo and from previous reports.
