Firmware Development for RAW Video Data Output for E-M1X and E-M1 III

Olympus is pleased to announce development for firmware that enables output of RAW video data from the Olympus OM-D E-M1X and Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III mirrorless cameras to the ATOMOS NINJA V HDR monitor recorder. Data will be recorded to the ATOMOS NINJA V as Apple ProRes RAW for flexible image editing. This lends greater flexibility to professional video production post-processing tasks, such as adjusting exposure and color grading recorded footage. Olympus Updates Firmware for E-M1X, E-M II, E-M1 III, E-M5 III Cameras

Olympus released a new firmware update. Version 3.3 for the OM-D E-M1 Mark IIVersion 1.3 for the OM-D E-M1X, Version 1.2 for OM-D E-M5 Mark III and Version 1.1 for OM-D E-M1 Mark III now available for download.

This new firmware provides feature enhancements for photographers and ability to use focus stacking photography with M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 100-400mm F5.0-6.3 IS lens ($1,499 at B&HAdorama).

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm F5.0-6.3 IS Lens Announced, Price $1,499

Along with the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV camera, Olympus has also unveiled the new Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm F5.0-6.3 IS lens.

It is a super telephoto zoom that is equivalent to 200-800mm when attached to a Micro Four Thirds body, featuring 21 elements, including ED, Super HR and HR glass, as well as a 9-blade aperture, image stabilizer,  minimum focus distance (at all focal lengths) of just 1.3 meters, and the maximum magnification of  0.17x at wide-angle and 0.57x at full telephoto and weather sealed. This new lens costs $1,499, first available for pre-order at Amazon/ B&HAdorama. It will start shipping from September 8, 2020. Olympus OM-D E-M10 IV Camera Announced, Price $699

Olympus has announced the new Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV. It is an entry-level Micro Four Thirds camera, featuring a 20 Megapixel Live MOS sensor and in-body image stabilization,  a selfie-friendly LCD, a 2.36 million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder and a 121-pt contrast-detect autofocus system.

First Pictures of Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV Camera

Here are the first pictures of Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV camera.

The cameras, which are expected to be announced by the end of 2020, are slowly emerging and Olympus E-M10 IV is one of them. When we look at the list of features, we can say that Olympus has added the 20MP sensor and 5-axis in-body stabilization to its new models by default.

Olympus will soon announce a new OM-D E-M10 Mark IV camera and the M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm f/5.0-6.3 IS lens from the latest roadmap. The entry-level Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV Micro Four Thirds camera is expected to be announced in the next several weeks and will replace the current Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III model.
