The Olympus E-M1X high-end mirrorless camera will be announced on January 24th. Here is an updated rumors recap of the upcoming Micro Four Thirds sports camera.

Olympus released several Olympus OM-D E-M1 X teaser to show a few quick glances at a new high-end OM-D mirrorless camera in action. Along with the E-M1X, the company will also release a new FL-700WR Flash, FR-WR Receiver and the FC-WR Commander.

Olympus E-M1X specs, the camera will feature a new 20 megapixel sensor, a 50 megapixel handheld high-resolution shooting mode. The specs will also include 18fps burst shooting, and an incredible 7.5 stops of image stabilisationThe price of the Olympus E-M1X sports camera is expected to be around $3,000

Rumors About Olympus E-M1X Camera

The Olympus E-M1X is toughest, fastest and smartest OM-D yet, featuring the world’s best image stabilization and stand out new capabilities including 50mp Hi-Res Shot handheld. The new built-in vertical grip houses two batteries for extended use and a deep finger rest for both horizontal and vertical positions gives a more comfortable grip. New twin processors take high-speed performance to another level for both image processing and a re-developed intelligent autofocus system. The magnesium alloy body is fully IPX1 weather resistance tested.
