Tony Northrup put the newly announced Olympus E-M1X and Sony A7 III camera to freeze test.
Tony’s extreme brutal testing involved by freezing the Olympus E-M1X (Adorama | B&H | Amazon) in ice with a Sony a7 III to test the weather sealing. Then, he did some astrophotography shots to test the eye detect autofocus and portraits, low-light autofocus, sports, stabilization (4 seconds handheld!), Hi-res mode (both tripod and handheld high res), and the built-in ND filter.
Surprisingly the Olympus had trouble with its shutter button getting stuck, while the Sony continued to operate perfectly. Check out the video below for more in action!
