Canon has just filed two new lens patents RF 85mm f/1.8 lens and RF 100mm f/2.8 lens. New Canon patents are for RF-mount and will be designed for company’s full frame mirrorless cameras.

During the Canon EOS R5 development announcement, Canon also announced that there will be a total of 9 RF lenses coming in 2020, including already announced RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM Lens (B&H, Adorama, Amazon) RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM lens, Extender RF 1.4x, Extender RF 2x.
