We have the Sony A7R V announcement date rumored as October 26th. Before the official announceent, two rumor sites have shared the first specifications of the upcoming Sony a7R V mirrorless camera.
The main conflict is on the sensor resolution. Sony A7R V might feature 61MP or 63MP sensor. However both sites mentions that the main improvement in image quality will be achieved by a faster processor. So the sensor of the A7rV will have mostly the SAME resolution as the previous A7r IV. - Same 61MP sensor because all the power goes to the new processor.

- 4k60p 4k24p (full read out)
- S cinetone is available
- 8 stop IBIS (unclear yet if “native” or with “gyro data”)
- Body looks like a mix between the Sony a7S III and Sony a7 IV.
