Sigma 17mm f/4, 50mm f/2 & 23mm f/1.4 Lenses Will be Announced Within the Next few Weeks

The latest rumor suggests that Sigma will announce the 17mm f/4 DG DN, 50mm f/2 DG DN & 23mm f/1.4 DC DN Lenses within the next few weeks.

Since the 17mm f/4 and 50mm f/2 are compatible with magnetic metal caps, they are probably I-series lenses with metal barrels and a high quality feel. 23mm f/1.4 DC DN is an easy-to-use prime lens, so I think many people have been waiting for it. Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 Officially Announced, Price $79

Fujifilm officially announced the new Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 instant film camera. Available in three new colors: Blossom Pink, Mint Green, Clay White, Lilac Purple, and Pastel Blue. The US price is $79.95 and it be available around mid-March. The new Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 is available for pre-order at B&H, Adorama.

Samyang AF 75mm F1.8 APS-C Lens for Fujifilm X mount

Samyang has just officially announced the new Samyang 75mm AF 75mm f/1.8  for Fujifilm X mount. It is a very lightweight and compact lens, which gives you a field of view of around 21,9° with a minimum focusing distance of only 69cm. This is the second X mount AF lens after the Samyang AF 12mm f/2 X.

Tamron unveils 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD for Fujifilm X-mount

Tamron has announced an 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD, a new wide-angle zoom lens for Fujifilm X-mount cameras with a release date set for spring 2023.

The 11-20mm lens gives a 16.5-30mm equivalent range on an X-series camera, providing a faster alternative to Fujifilm’s own XF10-24mm F4 OIS WR though not going as wide as the XF8-16mm F2.8 WR.

The Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD allows a minimum focusing distance of 0.15m and a maximum magnification of 1:4, allowing users to shoot wide-angle macro shots.

Also on board the Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD is the company’s Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive (RXD), which enables quiet performance when filming video.

Key details of the Tamron 11-20mm F2.8 Di III-A RXD for Fujifilm X-mount:

  • Ultra-wide angle zoom lens with F2.8 aperture
  • RXD stepping motor drive for silent stills and video shooting
  • MOD of 0.15m (5.9in) at 11mm focal length
  • Waterproof construction and fluorine coating

Other features include a Fluorine Coating and a moisture-resistant construction.

The Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD price tag will be revealed at a later date, the company says. Tamron started releasing FUJIFILM X-Mount lenses in 2021, and it seems like for now, the company is focusing on producing zoom lenses. Last year, the Tamron 17-70mm F/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD was launched, an affordable and versatile piece of glass with built-in image stabilization. It is now listed at B&HPhoto.
