Fujifilm X-H2 to arrive in 2022 with 8K DCI/UHD Video

The Fujifilm X-H2 has been eagerly awaited by Fujifilm fans for a while now. We can now expect the Fujifilm X-H2 announcement just at the beginning of 2022, after a year in which the company focused its efforts on other mirrorless cameras such as the Fujifilm X-T4 and Fujifilm X-S10.

According to recent reports surfaced on the web, the upcoming X-H2 will be capable of 8K video recording, both 8K DCI and 8K UHD. As you might remember that the APS-C Sony IM671AQR 43MP BSI 8k sensor also has stacked DRAM and up to 16 bit depth for stills images.

Fujifilm XF 18mm f/1.4 R WR Lens is on the Horizon

According to latest rumors, the Fujifilm XF 18mm f/1.4 R WR Lens will be announced on April 15th, 2021.

The Fujifilm X-mount Lens Roadmap shows this wide-angle and a telephoto zoom lens. So we already know these lenses would be XF 18mm f/1.4 lens and the XF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 OIS lens. Fuji enthusiasts met the XF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 OIS lens earlier this year. Now it is rumored that the XF 18mm f/1.4 lens will soon be announced.

Fujifilm introduces Instax Mini 40 instant camera

Fujifilm has introduced the Instax Mini 40, its latest instant camera. The Instax Mini 40 is essentially the Mini 11 in a different body, which means that you’re getting a 35mm equivalent lens, auto-exposure, a built-in flash and selfie mirror.

The Mini 40 is priced at $100 and will be available by the end of April. Pre-orders are open at B&H and Amazon.

Silver Viltrox AF 23mm, 33mm & 56mm f/1.4 Lenses Released

Viltrox has released silver version of their 23mmF1.4, 33mmF1.4 and 56mmF1.4 X-mount AF lenses.

All three lenses has a metal structure, and  offers a wide manual focus ring and internal focusing, along with a noiseless STM motor to power the autofocus. The widest of the three new autofocus lenses is the 23mm – which offers an equivalent focal length of a 35mm when used on an APS-C mirrorless camera.

Fujifilm Confirms X-H1 IBIS Issue with XF70-300mmF4-5.6 Lens

Fujifilm confirmes that there is an issue with IBIS on the Fujifilm X-H1 when used with the new Fujinon XF70-300mmF4-5.6 R L LM R WR.

The company issued an official notice, promising a firmware update to fix it shortly. The X-H1 camera for body-only is priced for $1,899.95 and with Vertical Power Booster Grip Kit costs at $2,199.95.
