Here is a full in-depth Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1 R WR lens review published on ePhotozine. The US price is $1,499.95 and it is now in stock at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.
Fujifilm XF 50mm f/1 R WR lens is a very good option if you do not own a XF56mm and would like weather resistance.
The XF 50mm F1.0 has 12 elements in nine groups, and contains one aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion (ED) elements. It has a rounded diaphragm and its wide maximum aperture means that, paired with Fujifilm’s X-Pro3 and X-T4 cameras, users can autofocus at a luminance level of -7EV. From ePhotozine review :
“It performs really well, right in the top tier, it is designed specifically to offer something special for the portrait photographer, although not exclusively so by any means. It has weather resistance. It is fast for use in low light situations. Focusing is razor accurate. It is an absolute joy to use on the Fujifilm X-T4. It is an exciting lens to use, and has the aforementioned “pixie dust” magic ingredient.”
