Fujifilm X100VI Camera Officially Announced

Fujifilm has just announced the eagerly awaited X100VI camera, marking a significant leap forward with its 40-megapixel successor to the beloved Fujifilm X100V. The X100VI will be available at an MSRP of $1599 ( B&H | Adorama), a $200 increase over the previous models. It will be available from early March 2024.

Fujifilm X100V is available with a price tag of $1399, or $1799 CAD. Check availability at B&H Photo / Amazon / Adorama. Pricing for the X100VI is rumored to be around $200 higher than the X100V’s launch price. Even it’s a $200 increase compared to the original price of the Fujifilm X100V , this price is actually a bargain compared to the used price of Fujifilm X100V.

The Fujifilm X100VI brings a host of enhancements to the table, headlined by the inclusion of the 40MP X-Trans CMOS sensor borrowed from the X-H2. Not stopping at higher resolution stills, this sensor, in tandem with the X-Processor 5, empowers users to capture stunning 10-bit 6.2K 30p, 4K 60p, or FHD 240p videos. Complementing this capability is an updated AF algorithm leveraging deep-learning AI technology, delivering swifter autofocus and enhanced subject detection and tracking across diverse lighting conditions.
