Fujifilm Confirms X-H1 IBIS Issue with XF70-300mmF4-5.6 Lens

Fujifilm confirmes that there is an issue with IBIS on the Fujifilm X-H1 when used with the new Fujinon XF70-300mmF4-5.6 R L LM R WR.

The company issued an official notice, promising a firmware update to fix it shortly. The X-H1 camera for body-only is priced for $1,899.95 and with Vertical Power Booster Grip Kit costs at $2,199.95.

The symptom has been confirmed that the image stabilization function doesn’t work well with the combination of X-H1 and the newly launched XF70-300mmF4-5.6 R LM OIS WR.
As a solution to the symptom, we are fixing the firmware of X-H1 and plan to release an upgrade firmware shortly.
