After Sony announced the new video-centric full-frame mirrorless camera Sony Alpha a7S III (Amazon, B&H, Adorama), a new camera named “WW850128″ is now registered.
This is the previously registered WW850128 camera now also registered at Taiwan NCC. According to leaked info, this camera could be an entry-level full frame mirrorless camera, a possible Sony a5 model.
Sony is rumored announce the Sony a5 – an entry level full frame mirrorless camera that will be priced under $1,000. If it turns out to be true, the Sony a5 will be a great competitor to the $899 Canon EOS RP.
Sony’s interchangeable lens camera “WW850128” has also been registered at Taiwan NCC. Equipped with Wi-Fi (11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth. Battery is NP-FZ100, USB is Type-C. The SD card is installed during the certification test with the single card slot. (WW271448 is α7S III)
According to the Nokishita-C, this new camera adopts Z battery and single SD card slot. It will be equipped with Wi-Fi (11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth.
It is likely to be an entry model because it is equipped with only one SD single card slot, but since it uses a large-capacity Z battery, it does not seem to be a very small camera. Is it a full-size, low-priced model “Sony α5” ?
