Nokishita reports that Tamron will announce their new 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD FE lens for Sony E-mount. The lens will be available for pre-order from May 14th, 2020. The new high-speed telephoto zoom lens for Sony E-mount full-frame E-mount cameras will be priced at $1,199. Check availability at Adorama and B&H.
Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 FE Lens price will be less than half of the Sony 70-200mm F2.8 GM lens. Moreover it weights only 815g, much lighter than the 1480g from Sony. Just the killer!
