Tony Northrup published his test results and review for the new NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Lens (B&H Photo/Adorama/Amazon).
We already know that the new standart zoom lens for Nikon full frame mirrorless cameras is 25% smaller and 18% lighter, with a totally redesigned optical formula comprising 17 elements in 15 groups, compared to the AF-S 24-70mm F2.8 for F-mount.
Tony Northrup also compares this lens with Nikon’s legendary AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR lens and Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens and Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM Lens. He says the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens on Nikon Z6 & Z7 has best image quality and results compared to other lenses.
